O-rings can be used both as sealing elements and as force-applying elements for hydraulic sliding seals and wipers, so they are widely used in various applications. It can be said that in the industrial field, whether it is a single seal for repair and maintenance, or applications such as aerospace, automotive and general industries that require quality assurance, there is no O-ring not used. Type 0 seals dominate static sealing applications:
1. Used as a radial static seal, for example: for the seal of shaft sleeves, sealing covers, pipes, oil cylinders, etc.
2. Used as an axial static seal, such as seals for flanges, plates and end caps.
For dynamic applications, O-ring diagrams are only recommended for moderate load conditions. Limited by speed and pressure, O-ring diagrams are generally used for:
1. Sealing of reciprocating pistons, piston rods and plungers under low load conditions.
2. Seals during low-speed rotation or helical motion on shafts, mandrels and rotary power input shafts.
